"There’s a tendency to throw aside old values as belonging to an earlier generation.  Don’t discard those values that have proven, over a period of time, their value.  Just believe in those values that made our nation great and keep them: faith, family, hard work, and, above all, freedom."

I started this site for one reason which is to try and bring back a sense of pride in our country.  I don’t know exactly when it disappeared but I do know it was shortly after 9/11.  The immediate days that followed that horrific event saw a country that has not felt that sense of nationalism or patriotism since the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Feeling America come together as it did that September was one of the most amazing emotions I have ever felt.  However, since then we have fallen apart.  My goal, with your help, is to bring it all back.  This isn’t going to be another 9/11 tribute site or platform for the rights and lefts to slug it out but what I am hoping to make it is meeting place for those of us that still believe.  I invite you to share your stories or pictures or anything else you see fitting for usanationalism.com.

This brings me to a problem that I have encountered.  It appears that the reason we are struggling to return America to its proper place as a world power is because its citizens have either forgotten, or worse yet, they never knew what made us great.  I am a current college history student, majoring in United States history and it never fails that every class I take is full of anti-American…Americans.  They feel that the United States has no business in global affairs, doesn’t care about its own people, and of course they still haven’t forgotten the slavery issue which in my opinion was obviously wrong  but enough has been done to make up for it and its time to move on…

Well that’s just a little insight into what you’ll find here.  With your help I would like to fill up these pages with pictures, articles, essays, and whatever else you deem plausible for the site.  I plan to include some narratives into the great events in US history.  As a scholar, I will do my best to keep them unbiased, but as a passionate American I will occasionally have to add my two cents.  Enjoy!
